It's the SUPERBAD prequel you never knew you wanted. After being invited to his first kissing party, Max (Jacob Tremblay) begins to panic when he realizes that he doesn't know how to kiss. Together with his best friends Thor and Lucas (Brady Noon and Keith L. Williams), the trio spy on their neighbours to pick up some pointers but things go terribly wrong when the drone is destroyed and it only gets worse from there. Universal Pictures have dropped a new trailer for GOOD BOYS, which isn't nearly as effective as the foul-mouth red-band trailer released back in March, but still looks like it could offer audiences a fun time.
The official synopsis for GOOD BOYS:
After being invited to his first kissing party, 12-year-old Max is panicking because he doesn't know how to kiss. Eager for some pointers, Max and his best friends Thor and Lucas decide to use Max's dad's drone- which they are forbidden to touch- to spy on a teenage couple who are making out. But when things go ridiculously wrong, the drone is destroyed. Desperate to replace it before Max's dad gets home, the boys skip school and set off an odyssey of epically bad decisions involving some accidentally stolen drugs, frat-house paintball, and running from both the cops and terrifying teenage girls.
GOOD BOYS will hit theaters on August 16, 2019.
