New Godzilla: King of the Monsters trailer stomps in!

Director Mike Dougherty's GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS is all set to stomp and roar it's gigantic-ass into theaters this coming May and today we have an all-new trailer to share with you guys. Not only that, but along with the trailer below, you can give the killer new poster a look-see as well.

The sequel to Gareth Edwards' 2014 GODZILLA, this new film was written by Dougherty, his KRAMPUS co-writer Zach Shields, and Max Borenstein, co-writer of the previous GODZILLA and KONG: SKULL ISLAND, which exists in the same MonsterVerse as GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS.

It follows:

The heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species thought to be mere myths rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.

The film stars Millie Bobby Brown, Vera Farmiga, Ken Watanabe, Sally Hawkins, Kyle Chandler, Zhang Ziyi, Aisha Hinds, Charles Dance, Thomas Middleditch, O'Shea Jackson Jr., Randy Havens, Jonathan Howard, Anthony Ramos, Bradley Whitford, and Elizabeth Ludlow, with Jason Liles, Richard Dorton, and Alex Maxson providing the motion capture performances for the three heads of King Ghidorah.

I'm not going to lie and say I've seen this trailer yet. I haven't. I'm going to wait until later tonight when I have the chance to throw it up on my big screen, turn the lights down, and experience what is sure to be a brilliantly stunning and badass two and a half minutes or so. But don't mind me, take a look below and then let us know what you think! GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS is scheduled to be released on May 31, 2019.
