And once again we’ve got our hands on some new details for Colin Trevorrow’s JURASSIC WORLD, so read on at your own risk as some mild SPOILERS will follow. One of the standout details of the new JURASSIC WORLD is the hybrid dinosaur that will be chomping down on visitors at the park. If you’re out of the loop on the new dino in JURASSIC WORLD just click HERE and HERE to get all caught up. Essentially, the new dino is the direct result of scientists splicing together DNA from other dinosaurs and species, creating what they are calling the Diabolus-Rex.
Thanks to Twitter, we now have a look at the concept art for the D-Rex, and he looks like one mean motherf*cker! The final design could be much different in the film itself, but I like the direction they went with this guy and I'm sure it's going to calm a lot of nerves. I think the initial concern with a hybrid dinosaur was the fact that a lot of people thought it was going to look ridiculous and shoot lasers out of its asshole, or something like that. What's cool about this design, however, is how simple and mean it looks, and I'm totally cool with that. Take a look below!
Directed by Colin Trevorrow, JURASSIC WORLD stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Vincent D'Onofrio, Omar Sy, Irrfan Khan, Ty Simpkins, Judy Greer, and Nick Robinson. It will hit theaters on June 12, 2015.
