New Cirque poster

While I’m not sure I agree with the new TWILIGHT-themed marketing for CIRQUE DU FREAK: THE VAMPIRE’S ASSISTANT, I can at least understand it from a business standpoint. It’s kinda hard to market a teen vampire movie without at least calling to mind TWILIGHT. Yet again, any move that banishes a bearded Salma Hayek to the back of your poster is bad news. It seems like this would be the perfect movie for some carnival-esque character posters. But instead we get a fully shaven Salma (get your minds out of the gutter boys) and a guy in the background who’s so small I can’t even make him out. Check out the new UK poster for the film below.
