More character skins based off the 1995 film may come to MK 11 as DLC?

MORTAL KOMBAT is probably still the best videogame movie to come out so far (here's hoping the new reboot doesn't shit the bed). It's also been an important part of MK's legacy, so much so that they brought back Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa as Shang Tsung for MORTAL KOMBAT 11's AFTERMATH DLC!

Well, according to dataminers on Reddit, it appears that they've uncovered voice samples of other actors from the film also recording lines for the game, including Christopher Lambert, Linden Ashby, and Bridgette Wilson-Sampras as Raiden, Johnny Cage, and Sonya Blade, respectively. If true, let's hope they can bring back my boy Robin Shou as Liu Kang!

Here's a clip on Reddit from a YouTube video revealing all this (which has since been removed):

Now, still take this with a grain of salt for now, since these could just be really good voice impersonators. But the fact that it was so swiftly taken down from YouTube gives me the feeling that's not the case (also, if it is just impersonations, they did a damn good job!)

But what do you guys think? Fans of the game? If so, would you get skins based off the movie characters for DLC? Either way, sound off below!

Meanwhile, MORTAL KOMBAT 11 is currently available for consoles and PC!
