Last month NBC revealed an October 25 premiere date for their upcoming take on "Dracula", a 10-episode season starring John Rhys Meyers as the titular bloodsucker, and since then we've started to see some new images come our way from the series. Last week saw two new pics hit the web featuring Nonso Anozie as Renfield and Meyers as the seductive vamp, and now we've gotten our hands on seven new fang-tastic character posters courtesy Yahoo! TV, which you can check out below.
Golden Globe winner Jonathan Rhys Meyers ("The Tudors") stars in this provocative new one-hour drama as one of the world's most iconic characters. It's the late 19th century, and the mysterious Dracula has arrived in London, posing as an American entrepreneur who wants to bring modern science to Victorian society. He's especially interested in the new technology of electricity, which promises to brighten the night – useful for someone who avoids the sun. But he has another reason for his travels: He hopes to take revenge on those who cursed him with immortality centuries earlier. Everything seems to be going according to plan… until he becomes infatuated with a woman who appears to be a reincarnation of his dead wife.
"Dracula" stars Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Jessica De Gouw, Thomas Kretschmann, Katie McGrath and Nonso Anozie. Other cast members include Victoria Smurfit as Lady Jayne Wetherby, Ben Miles as Mr. Browning, and Robert Bathurst as Lord Thomas Davenport. Look for "Dracula" on NBC this October.
