New CGI Yoda front and center in Phantom Menace 3D poster

One of the big “Lucas meddling” changes in the new Star Wars trilogy 3D re-release is that the puppet Yoda from the first film is being completely replaced by the all CGI version we saw lightsaber fighting in the other two movies.

Now, he’s taking center stage in this brand new poster for the film which you can see below. Yes, it’s Russian. They like Star Wars over there too.

I don’t know, for as far as CGI has come in recent years, I think this is sort of a shit rendering of Yoda. The textures look wonky to me, and though it’s probably better than that putrid puppet, it still leaves something to be desired.
