Sony Pictures has unleashed a new behind-the-scenes featurette for its forthcoming comic book adaptation of BLOODSHOT, starring Vin Diesel as the nanite-infused superhero whose memories have been manipulated in order to make him the ultimate killing machine. The video features interviews with comic book creators Bob Layton and Kevin VanHook, who're joined by members of the main cast, Vin Diesel and Eiza Gonzalez, to talk the origin and debut of a different kind of superhero up on the big screen.

You can check out the new featurette below:

BLOOSHOT follows the story of Marine Ray Garrison (Diesel), who is resurrected by a secret team of scientists after he and his wife are murdered. Enhanced with nanotechnology, he becomes a superhuman, biotech killing machine – Bloodshot. As Ray first trains with fellow super-soldiers, he cannot recall anything from his former life. But when his memories flood back and he remembers the man that killed both him and his wife, he breaks out of the facility hellbent on revenge, only to discover that there’s more to the conspiracy than he originally thought.

In addition to Diesel, BLOODSHOT also stars Eiza Gonzalez (BABY DRIVER, ALITA: BATTLE ANGEL), Sam Heughan (OUTLANDER), Talulah Riley (WESTWORLD), Alex Hernandez (HEMLOCK GROVE), Toby Kebbell (KONG: SKULL ISLAND), Lamorne Morris (NEW GIRL), and Guy Pearce (MARY QUEEN OF SCOTS).

Making his feature directorial debut on BLOODSHOT is Dave Wilson, who in the past has helmed cinematics for such high-profile video games as Halo 2, Mass Effect 2 and Bioshock Infinite. Wilson will shoot the high-impact action adaptation from a script written by Academy Award-nominated writer Eric Heisserer (ARRIVAL, THE THING).

As a comic book cinema fan who's always ready to be introduced to a new badass on the big screen, I can't wait to check out BLOODSHOT when it smashes into theaters on March 13, 2020.
