New behind-the-scenes look at Andy Serkis in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes

Empire Online has released a new behind-the-scenes look at Andy Serkis doing what Andy Serkis does best – rocking a mo-cap suit like no one else – on the set of DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES. Not exactly something we haven’t seen before, but it will have to do on a slow news day.

Besides, after that first teaser trailer, I’m incredibly excited to give this film a look, so anything to keep the buzz going is fine by me.

Directed by Matt Reeves and also starring Gary Oldman, Jason Clarke, Keri Russell, Judy Greer and Kodi Smit-McPhee, DANW OF THE PLANET OF THE APES goes like this:

A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.

DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES comes out on July 11th.
