New Alien: Covenant image shows us Paradise

Like many of you, I am currently counting down the days until the ALIEN prequel / PROMETHEUS sequel ALIEN: COVENANT is unleashed upon the world. After that red-band trailer we got a few months back I was signed, sealed, and delivered. Not that I need to be convinced.

Say what you will about PROMETHEUS, I won't be listening. Har, har. I'm kidding, but I'm not. PROMETHEUS is a work of straight godd*mn art, and if you have issues with that stupid scene where Wormtail's son tries to make friends with the Space-Snake, then I feel sorry for you.

Yes, that scene is silly. As balls. But if that keeps you from re-watching or enjoying the visual splendor of the rest of Ridley Scott's modern masterpiece (yes, masterpiece) then you need to do what I do. Shut of the English dialogue track and turn on the French track. Watching PROMETHEUS along with the French language is not only borderline sexy (yeah) but it also keeps you from having to listen to the Urgh inducing dialogue.

Everybody wins! For real, try that sh*t out. Until then here is an image of "Paradise" from the new ALIEN movie.

Check out the tweet below and the full pic below.

ALIEN: COVENANT has the following synopsis:

Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, the crew of the colony ship Covenant discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world — whose sole inhabitant is the "synthetic" David, survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.

Katherine Waterson, Danny McBride, Benjamin Rigby, Demian Bichir, Jussie Smollett, Carmen Ejogo, Amy Seimetz, Callie Hernandez, Billy Crudup, Noomi Rapace, James Franco, Guy Pearce, and Michael Fassbender star.

ALIEN: COVENANT hits theaters this May.
