Netflix’s Fast & Furious: Spy Racers trailer and photos hit the mean streets

Ladies and gentlemen! Children of all ages! Start your engines, and get ready to experience the Fast & Furious universe like never before!

Universal and DreamWorks Animation have pulled up to the starting line today with the first official trailer for FAST & FURIOUS: SPY RACERS, the all-new animated series spinning out of Universal's multi-billion dollar Fast & Furious franchise.

Here is the official description for FAST & FURIOUS: SPY RACERS via Netflix's official press release:

Teenager Tony Toretto follows in the footsteps of his cousin Dom when he and his friends are recruited by a government agency to infiltrate SH1FT3R, an elite racing league serving as a front for a nefarious crime organization bent on world domination. Tim Hedrick (DreamWorks Voltron Legendary Defender) and Bret Haaland (All Hail King Julien) will serve as executive producers and showrunners. The series is also executive produced by Vin Diesel, Neal H. Moritz and Chris Morgan who also serve as producers on the live-action Fast & Furious franchise.

The exciting adventure series for kids features the voice talents of Tyler Posey (Teen Wolf) as Dom’s younger cousin turned spy racer Tony Toretto, Camille Ramsey (American Vandal) as the formidable Layla Gray, a notable underground racer who works for SH1FT3R, Luke Youngblood (Harry Potter) as Frostee Benson, a 13-year old tech genius, Charlet Chung (Overwatch) as Echo, a master artist and natural spy, Jorge Diaz (Jane the Virgin) as Cisco Renaldo, both the muscle and the sweetheart of the crew, Renée Elise Goldsberry (Hamilton) as the team’s secret agent liaison Ms. Nowhere, Similce Diesel as Frostee’s younger sister Sissy, and Manish Dayal (The Resident) as Shashi Dhar, the world-domination-obsessed leader of the criminal organization SH1FT3R.

Jimmy Tatro (American Vandal), Carlos Alazraqui (The Fairly OddParents), Eric Bauza (The Adventures of Puss in Boots), Grey Griffin (DC Super Hero Girls), Kevin Michael Richardson (Trolls: The Beat Goes On!), Fred Tatasciore (Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia), and Tru Valentino (Archibald’s Next Big Thing) also guest star.

Geared toward younger audiences, FAST & FURIOUS: SPY RACERS plans to honor the Fast franchise tradition of pairing death-defying racing techniques with characters that, together, create a unique sense of family. While the animation might not be for older fans of the franchise, Spy Racers will now provide everyone with an opportunity to introduce their young ones to the world of street racing and super spy shenanigans.

In addition to the reveal of the show's new trailer, Netflix also dropped a full tank of photos for the series:
