As most of you know by now- and should be super excited about – director Mike Flanagan (OCULUS, HUSH, GERALD'S GAME, and OUIJA: ORIGIN OF EVIL) has a 10 episode Netflix series based on Shirley Jackson's 1959 novel THE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE headed our way this October.
Last month we shared with you guys your first look at the series which stars Carla Gugino (GERALD'S GAME, SIN CITY) and Henry Thomas (E.T., GERALD'S GAME). And if that wasn't enough for you guys, today we have a quick teaser which announces the trailer will be hitting tomorrow!
The news broke over on the series' official Twitter account. You can check out the tweet below and then let us know what you think! Flanagan's take on The Haunting of Hill House is described as a "modern reimagining" of Jackson's novel. The story centers on
a group of siblings who, as children, grew up in what would go on to become the most famous haunted house in the country. Now adults, and forced back together in the face of tragedy, the family must finally confront the ghosts of their past — some of which still lurk in their minds while others may actually be stalking the shadows of Hill House.
The cast includes Michiel Huisman, Carla Gugino, Henry Thomas, Elizabeth Reaser, Kate Siegel, Timothy Hutton, Annabeth Gish, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Victoria Pedretti, Mckenna Grace, Violet McGraw, Lulu Wilson, Paxton Singleton, and Julian Hilliard. The premiere date is October 12th.
Check back tomorrow for the trailer!
