Jinn

One month after releasing a teaser trailer for their upcoming Arabic series Jinn, Netflix has released a full trailer for the show, which will be available for viewing through the streaming service as of June 13th.

The series is described as a "contemporary supernatural teenage drama" and follows

a group of teenagers whose lives are disrupted when a Jinn in the form of a teenage boy appears to them in the ancient city of Petra. Their friendships and young romances are tested when they set out to stop an even greater darkness that is threatening to destroy the world. Can they come together in time, and find the answers needed, in order to save everything?

Filmed in Amman, Jordan, the first season of Jinn consists of six episodes. Salma Malhas, Hamza Abu Eqab, Sultan Alkhalil, and Aysha Shahalthough star.

Jinn is produced by Kabreet Productions and executive produced by writers Elan and Rajeev Dassani as well as director Mir-Jean Bou Chaaya. Amin Matalqa also contributed to the writing and directed three of the episodes.

Although it's aimed at a teen audience, Jinn does look like it could be an entertaining genre show.
