It was way back in October of 2015 that we reported the Sean Bean-starring horror-thriller TV series THE FRANKENSTEIN CHRONICLES was coming to U.S. TV screens. Back then the series was set to air on A&E but now it looks like Netflix will be streaming the first two six-episode seasons and is expected to run the series as a Netflix Original for future seasons
Personally, I have never heard of the series before today, but the synopsis below is very cool and I'll give most things a try if they star Sean Bean. Yes, that's how I watched the remake of THE HITCHER.

THE FRANKENSTEIN CHRONICLES synopsis:
A re-imagining of Mary Shelley’s classic novel. Set in 1830s London, Bean (“Game of Thrones”) plays John Marlott, a war veteran and river policeman. Season 1 of the serialized show sees him investigating the case of a corpse made up of body parts from different children, and finding the matter involves senior establishment figures and demonic forces.
The series was created by Benjamin Ross and Barry Langford, and stars Sean Bean, Anna Maxwell Martin, Charlie Creed-Miles, Ed Stoppard, Elliot Cowan, Hugh O’Conor, Joe Tucker, Kate Dickie, Lalor Roddy, Patrick Fitzsymons, Richie Campbell, Robbie Gee, Ryan Sampson, Samuel West, Shaun Mason, Steve Wilson, Steven Berkoff, Stuart Graham, Tom Ward, and Vanessa Kirby.
