Neill, Goldblum, and Dern are all back for Jurassic World 3

Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum, and Laura Dern have all appeared in JURASSIC sequels, but they haven't all three been in the same JURASSIC movie since JURASSIC PARK back in 1993. That's about to change, as it has been announced that Neill, Goldblum, and Dern are all returning to the franchise for JURASSIC WORLD 3, the sixth film in the series.

The reunion was confirmed at a Collider-hosted screening of JURASSIC WORLD director Colin Trevorrow's short film BATTLE AT BIG ROCK, which takes place between the events of JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM and the upcoming sequel. During the Q&A portion of the night, Trevorrow not only confirmed that Neill, Goldblum, and Dern will be in the new film, he even invited Dern on stage with him.

According to Trevorrow, all three of the actors will have "major roles" in JURASSIC WORLD 3, these won't just be cameos.

Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will also be reprising their JURASSIC WORLD and FALLEN KINGDOM roles in the film. Howard had hinted that the JURASSIC PARK stars would be returning a few months ago.

Details on the plot of JURASSIC WORLD 3 are being kept under wraps, but it's obvious that it will be dealing with the aftermath of FALLEN KINGDOM's final moments, which saw dinosaurs being set loose into the California countryside. Now that humans and dinosaurs are sharing space in mainland America, it makes sense that the JURASSIC PARK characters will have comments to make about the situation.

Trevorrow is returning to the helm for JURASSIC WORLD 3 and has written the screenplay with Emily Carmichael.

JURASSIC WORLD 3 is scheduled to reach theatres on June 11, 2021, so it's still going to be a while before we see the return of the JURASSIC PARK trio.
