We've seen a good amount of concept art for Neill Blomkamp's scrapped Alien 5, which would have been a direct sequel to the first two films in the Alien franchise and was set to bring Sigourney Weaver and Michael Biehn back as Ripley and Hicks. Through this artwork, we've seen how Ripley and Hicks would have looked in the movie and images of a xenomorph Queen on the rampage, a four-armed xenomorph, aliens wearing some kind of head gear, and the derelict ship from Alien being housed in a massive factory. Now the folks over at AVPgalaxy.net have happened to unearth another batch of concept art created by Geoffroy Thoorens that hasn't made the rounds.
Some of this concept art can be seen below, and features a bunch of armor-wearing mercenaries, an android character who may be named Jax, a shot of Ripley looking miserable in water, and an alien getting torn apart by a hail of bullets.
Plot details for Blomkamp's Alien 5 have never been revealed. All we know is that 20th Century Fox decided to set the film aside because their focus was on the series of Alien prequels Ridley Scott wanted to do, which started with Prometheus and continued with Alien: Covenant… and then also sputtered out. Aliens director James Cameron has expressed his support for Blomkamp's vision, but it doesn't seem likely that we'll ever get this Alien sequel.
Geoffroy Thoorens' artwork can be found at Djahalland.com and ArtStation.com.
