Word has been spreading around that Sam Neill and Laura Dern may be joining their JURASSIC PARK co-star Jeff Goldblum in the next JURASSIC WORLD movie, and judging by JURASSIC WORLD and JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM star Bryce Dallas Howard's reaction when MTV News asked her about that rumor, it seems like it might actually be happening.
This is far from an official confirmation, but Howard certainly seems giddy at the idea of working with the stars of the original JURASSIC film, and I wouldn't think she would be so excited about the idea if it wasn't actually happening. Then she says "I don't know what's been confirmed or whatever, but I'll blink if it's happening, maybe…" And proceeds to blink multiple times before letting out a laugh.
It would be awesome if Neill and Dern are in JURASSIC WORLD 3, but even if it turns out that they're not, this 33 second clip is a fun moment with Howard.
Colin Trevorrow will be directing the new sequel from a script he's writing with Emily Carmichael. Howard and Chris Pratt are both confirmed to be reprising their roles from the JURASSIC WORLD films.
As teased at the end of JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM, dinosaurs and humans will be co-existing on the mainland this time around. Trevorrow has said that he's excited about exploring a world
where it’s possible that a dinosaur might run out in front of your car on a foggy backroad, or invade your campground looking for food. A world where dinosaur interaction is unlikely but possible — the same way we watch out for bears or sharks."
Produced by Patrick Crowley and Frank Marshall, with Trevorrow and Steven Spielberg executive producing, JURASSIC WORLD 3 (or whatever it ends up being called) is scheduled to reach theatres on June 11, 2021.
