Understandable that Liam Neeson would want to keep busy these days, but this is going into the superpowers realm: the actor is joining the cast of a film currently in production, and he’s not even done leading THE A-TEAM yet.
Paul Haggis’ THE NEXT THREE DAYS, which began production last week, stars Russel Crowe as a teacher trying to save his wife (Elizabeth Banks) from incarceration for a murder she claims to have not committed. Neeson comes in as an ex-con and prison-breaker. Hope that didn’t spoil it for ya.
Based on 2008 french flick POUR ELLE, film also stars Brian Dennehy, Olivia Wilde, Daniel Stern and RZA. No release date yet but plan is apparently to screen it at next year’s Toronto Film Fest.
