Nazis, dinosaurs, and Sarah Palin appear in the crazy teaser for Iron Sky 2

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Two years ago, the batshit crazy movie IRON SKY was released. The grindhouse/b-movie about Nazis on the moon attacking Earth was so bad it was amazing. So, naturally, a sequel was needed. Through an IndieGoGo campaign, IRON SKY: THE COMING RACE has unveiled a teaser that features not only Nazis but also dinosaurs, Hitler, and Sarah Palin. All at the center of the Earth.

Yeah, nothing I just said in the previous paragraph sounds remotely plausible and yet I want to see this movie a hell of a lot more than I have any right to. The first IRON SKY was nowhere close to being a good movie, but I had a ton of fun watching how crazy the filmmakers went with the plot. I mean, Nazi scifi/horror/action movies like this and DEAD SNOW are the best way to use one of the worst factions in human history for entertainment purposes.

Iron Sky: The Coming Race will start twenty years after the events of the first movie, with a Nuclear war destroying the Earth. The hero of the story will have to go beneath the Earth, where a secret has been hidden for millions of years. Beneath the Earth the hero will discover an Ancient Reptilian Race, The Vril, and their Dinosaur army.

Returning cast include Udo Kier, Julia Dietze, and Stephanie Paul with ROAD TRIP star Tom Green joining as the leader of a cult. Who know who else could join the project as it picks up steam on the internet. All I know is this is a project worth seeing to completion.

Being a crowdfunded movie, IRON SKY: THE COMING RACE may never see the light of day, but with a good amount of fans for the cult film, I wouldn’t doubt the sequel will be made. Even this teaser looks pretty damn good for what it is. So, if you have some dough lying around and want to see dinosaurs fighting Nazis, head on over and make this flick happen.
