This isn’t something I’d ever admit to our resident Don Johnson super-fan (that would be Chris Bumbray for those keeping track at home), but I’ve never seen a single episode of Nash Bridges. Hell, while I’m confessing my Don Johnson ignorance, I’ve also never seen a single episode of Miami Vice. You’re looking at a man who’s going to be fired by the end of the day. Well, speaking of Don Johnson, USA Network have announced that the Nash Bridges revival movie will premiere on November 27th. Mark your calendars!
The two-hour Nash Bridges revival movie will bring back original cast members Don Johnson and Cheech Marin as elite investigators for the San Francisco Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit. You can check out the key art below!
In addition to Don Johnson and Cheech Marin, the Nash Bridges revival movie also stars Joe Dinicol, Diarra Kilpatrick, Angela Ko, Paul James, Alexia Garcia, Bonnie Sommerville, and Jeff Perry. The original series ran for six seasons from 1996 to 2001 and was created by Carlton Cuse, best known for Lost and Bates Motel, and the revival movie has been written by Bill Chais and was directed by Greg Beeman. While the revival is just a two-hour movie at this point, it was previously reported that the producers are hoping that it will be successful enough to jumpstart a full series relaunch.
The Nash Bridges revival movie will debut on USA Network on November 27, 2021 at 9pm ET/PT.
