The time has come for a new episode of our Paranormal Network video series Mytheries, and this one covers one of the biggest legends of all time: the lost continent of Atlantis. Atlantis was first mentioned in the works of Plato, and has been capturing imaginations ever since. Was Atlantis a real place, or did Plato just make it up for the story he was telling? People have been trying to figure that out for a couple thousand years now. Even the Nazis went searching for the place. As time has gone on, some have started to believe that the Atlanteans made contact with aliens before their land sank into the sea. In the video embedded above, we dig into these stories as we explore the truth and fiction of Atlantis.
Episodes of the Mytheries series
showcase various myths and mysteries from around the world and shine the light on incidents that have rocked history and can still not be explained. Each episode will be about a creature/myth/or in some cases people that are connected to it. To this day the creepiest thing about vampires is the fact that basically every culture in the world has a vampire myth but they never communicated to each other…so how did they know about them too? This is the place where Myth and Mystery combine.
The Atlantis episode was Written and Narrated by Jessica Dwyer, Edited by Zakk Denton, Produced by Jason Hewlett, and Executive Produced by Berge Garabedian.
