The dynamic duo that brings us scare after mind f*ck scare from the SAW franchise, actor Tobin Bell and director Darren Lynn Bousman, are re-teaming for an unlikely project: a musical. Bell will join Bousman’s rock opera REPO! THE GENETIC OPERA. But before you start thinking about the normal connotations that are associated with “musicals” read what Bousman had to say: “There is definitely camp to it, but it is much more serious than the ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show’. It is more violent than ‘Saw’ too; in fact, it makes all of the ‘Saw’ movies look like Disney films.”
That’s one super weird combination of you ask me, but hey – it sounds fun.
