Worlds will collide when MTV combines its 2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards and Movie & TV Awards: Unscripted shows into one massive celebration. The combined event airs on Sunday, June 5 at 8 p.m. ET/PT live from Barker Hangar in Santa Monica.

In addition to announcing the dual-format presentation, MTV unveiled this year’s nominations for the big show. Sony/Marvel’s Spider-Man: No Way Home leads the charge with seven nominations. HBO/HBO Max‘s Euphoria leads with six nominations for TV, including Best Show. Lastly, RuPaul’s Drag Race pulled ahead of the Unscripted pack with four nominations.

What do you think of this year’s nominees? Do you still tune in for the MTV Movie Awards? I aged out of this show eons ago, but I still like checking out the list of nominees. As it turns out, I’m more than familiar with a lot of this year’s nominees either through genuine interest or osmosis. I suppose I’m not that out of touch. Go me!
