After years of anticipation, Zack Snyder will finally be unveiling his true vision of Justice League next month, and the director has been regularly sharing images, videos, and other tidbits with fans about the ambitious project all along the way. Snyder took to Vero today to share a video of Steppenwolf vs. The Amazons on Themyscira for his Justice is Gray edition of the film. The video is from a monitor in Snyder's editing bay and you will need to click through to Vero for the full 16 second clip, but it already hits harder than the same sequence in the theatrical cut.

It was also recently confirmed that Zack Snyder's Justice League has received an R-rating for violence and some language, which is something Snyder had been teasing for some time. "The movie is insane and so epic and is probably rated R — that's one thing I think will happen, that it will be an R-rated version, for sure," Snyder revealed last December. "We haven't heard from the MPAA, but that's my gut."

The official synopsis for Zack Snyder's Justice League:

In ZACK SNYDER’S JUSTICE LEAGUE, determined to ensure Superman’s (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions.

Zack Snyder's Justice League will debut on HBO Max on March 18, 2021.
