Zack Snyder confirms Snyder Cut of Justice League with photo evidence

For the last two years, fans of Zack Snyder's DC work have been clamoring like a parademon for a director's cut of JUSTICE LEAGUE. After Snyder left the project due to a personal tragedy, studio interference, and a final "polish" by director Joss Whedon, JUSTICE LEAGUE was released with a resounding thud in 2017. A clear Frankenstein mashup whose ignominious claim to fame was Henry Cavill's CGI removed mustache, the film failed to perform at the box office and left fans scratching their heads.

In the wake of JUSTICE LEAGUE, the #ReleaseTheSnyderCut movement was born. In the last month the movement gained quite a bit of momentum with noted stars Gal Gadot and Ben Affleck tweeting out their support for the movement. One person who didn't lend his support via social media was the Man of Steel himself, Henry Cavill. In an interview with Reelblend's Kevin McCarthy for his upcoming Netflix show The Witcher, Cavill stated why he didn't lend his voice to #ReleaseTheSnyderCut:

"I have not seen any Snyder Cut. I don’t know if there’s anything that exists that is a Snyder Cut. I’m sure there’s footage out there which has probably been pieced together over the years. I’m always interested to see how stuff like that turns out, but that is very much a chapter of my past. I’d rather talk about what is gonna happen in the future. The future of Superman, how I can express that character from the comic books…"

Well friends and neighbors, while Henry Cavill may not believe a Snyder Cut of JUSTICE LEAGUE is real, but director Zack Snyder is here to prove otherwise. Via his VERO account, Snyder just dropped this little gem:

For seekers of the Snyder Cut this has got to be something akin to Indiana Jones viewing the Ark of the Covenant for the first time. It's one thing for people to throw up hashtags and sign petitions, it's quite another for the freakin' director to provide photographic evidence that it exists.

Now it's important to note that this is merely a photograph. We don't know conclusively what's on those reels of film and if it is the actual Snyder Cut, whether or not it's the full cut or something incomplete. Furthermore, just because Zack Snyder flashes a photograph doesn't mean that Warner Bros. is suddenly going to get off their fannies and give the populace what they want. I'm not trying to shit in anyone's cape and cowl here, I'm just being realistic.

So what do you guys think of this latest truth bomb from Krypton? Do you believe this is conclusive proof the Snyder Cut exists? Do you think this will finally spur WB to release the damn thing? Sound off in the comments below!
