The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It reactions have arrived

I'm a big fan of James Wan's The Conjuring movies, but the franchise has grown even larger than anyone ever suspected. In less than a decade, the series has spawned multiple spin-offs such as Annabelle and The Nun and has grossed nearly $2 billion worldwide, which is insane for a horror franchise. The latest installment of the series, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, finds Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga once again returning as paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, and the first reactions to the film have landed online. For the most part, folks seem mighty pleased with what The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It has to offer, but you can check out those reactions below.

James Wan didn't return to helm The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, instead handing over directing duties to The Curse of La Llorona's Michael Chaves, but he did come up with the story alongside screenwriter David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick. The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It will hit theaters and HBO Max on June 4, 2021.
