While we've previously reported that the Super Bowl wasn't likely to see the release of too many TV spots for upcoming movies due to the fact that most major release dates for 2021 are still in flux due to the pandemic, it looks like some studios are still promoting their movies at the big game. Last year saw the debut of Fast 9's first trailer, and sure enough, thanks to the movie's delay to this year the first TV spot to drop was, appropriately, for F9: The Fast Saga. Notably, the film's scheduled May 28th release date was not included, only saying that it would be in theaters "soon".
Universal also dropped a teaser for their upcoming Bob Odenkirk action flick, Nobody, which is now set for an April 2nd release date (rescheduled from February after No Time to Die vacated its easter weekend date), "in theaters only".
Up next: Raya & The Last Dragon, which is set to hit Disney+ (at a hefty premium) March 5th.
Up next was our very first look at M. Night Shyamalan's Old, which, I have to say, looks kind of amazing? That one has a July 23rd release date.
Up next, a teaser a few of you might be interested in – Disney Plus' next big Marvel series, Falcon & the Winter Soldier, which makes its stremaing debut March 19th.
