Anyone out there heading to Anaheim for the Star Wars Celebration during April 16-18th? Well those of you who are can look forward to a couple of new guests as the official Star Wars site announced today that Star Wars spin-off directors Gareth Edwards and Josh Trank will be joining Kathleen Kennedy, Kiri Hart, and Pablo Hidalgo on stage for a special conversation.
Kathleen Kennedy, Kiri Hart and Pablo Hidalgo will be joined by directors Gareth Edwards and Josh Trank, who will share their experiences as the newest members of the Lucasfilm creative family. Learn how the teams came together and are collaborating to conceive and create the upcoming stand-alone films in the galaxy far, far away.
Gareth Edwards is of course the director attached to what will be the first Star Wars spin-off, ROGUE ONE, while Josh Trank is tackling the as yet untitled second spin-off. It's anyone's guess as to what kind of information these two will reveal but seeing as we're still a ways off from either I'd venture that it won't be much; still, it's fun to imagine. Perhaps Trank will give us the title of his film or Edwards will reveal some more castings news from ROGUE ONE. Trank's spin-off doesn't have a release date at the moment but ROGUE ONE should be hitting theaters December 16, 2016.
The Star Wars Celebration will run April 16-18 at the Anaheim Convention Center in California.
