Merry Christmas and Happy Six Days Until the Merciful End of 2020, everybody! If you didn't get what you wanted for Christmas this year, Awfully Good Movies is ready to stuff your stocking with Batman, Furiosa and Lieutenant Dan joining in on John Frankenheimer's REINDEER GAMES! It starts out as a plot straight out of a Hallmark Christmas movie–Ben Affleck as a recently released prisoner who poses as his recently deceased cellmate to get with his cellmate's romantic penpal Charlize Theron for the holidays. But when you throw in Gary Sinise as Theron's deranged brother who wants Affleck to assist him and his trucker buddies in a Christmas Eve casino heist, you end up with a ridiculous but enjoyable mess that contains more killer Santas per capita than any installment of the SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT series, and more laughs than Affleck's other bad holiday movie SURVIVING CHRISTMAS. Ho-ho-how do you like them apples?
