Randall Park is currently on the case as Jimmy Woo on Marvel Studios' WandaVision but there is one project that Park still isn't sure that Jimmy Woo will be back for. The MCU introduced audiences to Randall Park's Jimmy Woo in Ant-Man and the Wasp a few years back but the role was quite small. Despite the size of the role, Woo has returned in a larger capacity on WandaVision and he says he's still waiting on Marvel's call for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
The character of Jimmy Woo has become a bit of a fan favorite with fans due to his appearance on the new Disney+ series and some fans are holding out hope they'll continue to use him in the future. Since he did make his debut in the second Ant-Man film, fans have assumed that he will be back for the third installment but during an interview on the entertainment series "Extra", Park said he's still not sure if he'll be involved in the film:
I don't know. I haven't gotten the call. If I do get the call, I'm on it. If I don't get the call, that's fine too because I'm in Westview, New Jersey right now. You know, gotta focus on one case at a time.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is set to bring back Paul Rudd as Scott Lang and Evangeline Lily's Hope Van Dyne as the titular heroes while Michael Douglas and Michelle Pfeiffer are also confirmed to return as Hank Pyn and Janet Van Dyne. The third film has recast Cassie Long with Kathryn Newton stepping into role and Jonathan Majors will be the latest threat as Kang the Conqueror. The film's title indicates that there will be a focus on the Quantum Realm but that doesn't mean that Jimmy Woo can't make an appearance. Side characters like this take on a life of their own in the MCU and what seems like an insignificant role can become so much more. Park has done that with is small appearance in Ant-Man and the Wasp being transitioned into one of more importance on WandaVision.
