Noah Centineo shows off He-Man body as he preps for Masters of the Universe

Noah Centineo is about to go from heartthrob to He-Man when he picks up the character's Power Sword for MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE.

Centineo recently went full thirst-trap when posting a new photo to his Instagram account that shows just how much the actor has bulked up for his upcoming role as Prince Adam of Eternia, aka He-Man. Back in February, Harpers Bazaar ran a piece about Centineo packing on the pounds to play the sword-wielding blonde bombshell, saying, "For the Masters of the Universe, Centineo, in preparation to play He-Man, bulked up 30 pounds of muscle last year (eating 11 eggs for breakfast on the regular), only to then shed the weight because production pushed filming back to this summer." While production plans have undoubtedly changed since the HB's publication due to coronavirus restrictions, the actor looks to have kept the weight on while also finding new ways to fine-tune his chiseled physique.

Set to be directed by Aaron and Adam Nee, MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE will center on He-Man, the most powerful man in the universe. For the film, He-Man will face Skeletor in an attempt to save the planet Eternia and protect the secrets of Castle Grayskull. Matt Holloway and Art Marcum are writing the screenplay, which is based on an earlier version penned by David S. Goyer and Christopher Yost.

What do you make of Centineo's buff bod? Does he look ready to take on the forces of evil while riding atop his trusty mount Cringer, aka Battle Cat? Personally, I think Centineo has a lot to offer after seeing him in films like SIERRA BURGESS IS A LOSER, CHARLIE'S ANGELS, and Netflix's TO ALL THE BOYS I'VE LOVED BEFORE. I know those films aren't everyone's cup of tea, but I enjoyed them none the less and found Centineo to be a charming presence in each one. Here's hoping that he can own the role of HE-MAN for the upcoming adaptation.
