A feature-film adaptation of Naughty Dog's Uncharted video-game franchise had been in development for years, but after more than a few delays and a revolving door of directors, production finally got underway last year with Ruben Fleischer (Venom) at the helm. With Uncharted set to hit theaters next year, a new image from the film has popped up online featuring Tom Holland as famed treasure hunter Nathan Drake and Mark Wahlberg as Victor "Sully" Sullivan, a friend, mentor, and father figure to Drake. Now, before you scroll down, you're going to want to prepare yourself…because Mark Wahlberg's Sully doesn't have a moustache. You know what? F**k it, let's burn this mother down!

Although Mark Wahlberg's soup strainer, or lack thereof, is causing quite a bit of uproar amongst Uncharted fans, it's likely that he will don Sully's iconic 'stache at some point in the film as the actor mentioned wearing a crumb catcher on Wahl Street and also posted an Instagram video teasing Sully's mouth mirkin last year. So don't light your torches just yet.

The upcoming Uncharted film will chronicle the early days of Nathan Drake, and, in addition to Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg, is also set to star Antonio Banderas, Sophie Ali, and Tati Gabrielle. Uncharted is slated to hit theaters on February 11, 2022. Mark Wahlberg will next be seen in Antoine Fuqua's Infinite, a sci-fi action where he plays a man who discovers that his hallucinations are actually visions from past lives. The film is slated to be released on the Paramount+ streaming service next month.
