New Scream movie is 100% complete

Scream, 2022

Although Ghostface won't be menacing theaters until next year, the latest installment of the Scream franchise is ready for its big debut. Less than a month after it was revealed that Scream was "picture locked," directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett have taken to Twitter to announce that the final mix is done and the film is now 100% complete.

The waiting begins. Although Scream has been billed as a relaunch of the franchise, the film still includes plenty of actors from the previous films, including Neve Campbell as Sidney Prescott, David Arquette as Dewey Riley, Courteney Cox as Gale Weathers, Marley Shelton as Judy Hicks, and, of course, Roger L. Jackson as the voice of Ghostface. New additions to the cast include Melissa Barrera, Jenna Ortega, Jack Quaid, Kyle Gallner, Marley Shelton, Mason Gooding, Dylan Minnette, Mickey Madison, Jasmin Savoy Brown, and Sonia Ammar.

Scream is set to hit theaters on January 14, 2022.
