New Rise of Skywalker EW images showcase old and new characters

As of tomorrow we are exactly one month out from the release of STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER, the epic conclusion to the Skywalker Saga. As marketing ramps up and anticipation builds, fans of the space opera are desperate for any snippet of information. Although plot details are scarcer than leftovers at Jabba's kitchen table, we've had plenty of set photos and trailers to whet our collective appetites. Well prepare for another course, as Entertainment Weekly just dropped a slew of new RISE OF SKYWALKER pics that show everything from Richard E. Grant's new baddie General Pryde to Rey going head to head with a pesky drone. Check it out:

While these images can be regarded as somewhat basic, it's not like Disney was going to release anything that would give the plot away. What's the fun in that?! Honestly though I dug the photo of Rey and I'm super intrigued as to what role Keri Russell's Zorii Bliss is going to play in the movie. Also Richard E. Grant's General Pryde looks decidedly malevolent and reminds me of Julian Glover's General Veers.

STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER starring Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isaac, John Boyega, Anthony Daniels, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Adam Driver, Domhnall Gleeson, Keri Russell, Kelly Marie Tran, Billy Dee Williams, and Ian McDiarmid blasts its way into theaters December 20.
