New footage in first TV spot for David Fincher’s Gone Girl adaptation

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

The first TV spot for David Fincher's GONE GIRL starring Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike aired last night during the 66th Annual Emmy Awards, and now 20th Century Fox has released it online. While this extended spot does feature footage from the trailers, there's also some new stuff as well. GONE GIRL is based on Gillian Flynn's novel of the same name, and is one of several highly anticipated films hitting theaters this fall.

Fincher's adaptation looks like it's going to be a mean, nasty movie, and it'll be interesting to see just how different it will be compared to Flynn's novel.

"Are you asking me if I killed my wife?"

GONE GIRL also stars Neil Patrick Harris, Tyler Perry, Patrick Fugit and Sela Ward, and it'll be in theaters on October 3, 2014.
