Elden Henson joins Netflix’s Daredevil series as sidekick Foggy Nelson

Fulton Reed is back to kick some ass…in a court of law!

Elden Henson, best known to audiences from his role in THE MIGHTY DUCKS, has been cast as Matt Murdock’s legal partner Foggy Nelson in the upcoming Netflix DAREDEVIL series. Henson joins Charlie Cox as Murdock, Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin, and Rosario Dawson. He also represents yet another solid piece of casting that adds to the small screen universe Marvel has been assembling with Netflix.

Henson has worked steadily over the years since being a child actor. Most recently he appeared in JOBS opposite Ashton Kutcher, the CBS series INTELLIGENCE, and as Pollux in the upcoming THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY. The part of Foggy Nelson was previously played by Jon Favreau in the 2003 film starring Ben Affleck.

This marks yet another good choice by the Marvel and Netflix powers that be. Hopefully Drew Goddard‘s scripts will be strong enough for showrunner Steven S. DeKnight to give us a really good portrait of The Man With No Fear. The series is expected to premiere later this year or early next year, so stay tuned for more news.
