Matt Damon teases Jason Bourne’s journey of discovery in Bourne 5

Over the course of THE BOURNE IDENTITY, THE BOURNE SUPREMACY, and THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM, we discovered just who Jason Bourne (Matt Damon) was, what he had done, and what he wanted; but by the time BOURNE 5 rolls around, we'll have a whole new set of Jason Bourne questions to ponder. Matt Damon is currently in the midst of shooting BOURNE 5 and he spoke with the New York Daily News to tease what's to come in the life of Jason Bourne:

[Bourne] has his memory back, but that doesn’t mean he knows everything. It’s 12 years since Jason Bourne has been on the grid. So we have to answer the questions, Where’s he been? What’s he doing? What gets him going again? So once we solved all that, then we had a movie.

It's not much, but it's defintely got me wondering just what they've thought up to get Jason Bourne back into the game. Paul Greengrass has returned to helm the fifth entry of the franchise which will see Matt Damon and Julia Stiles returning where they'll be joined by Tommy Lee Jones, Alicia Vikander, Ato Essandoh, and Vincent Cassel. BOURNE 5 is set for a July 29, 2016 release.

Matt Damon's work on THE MARTIAN has been receiving rave reviews, including one by our own Chris Bumbray, and the film will be released on October 2, 2015.
