If you're subscribed to HBO Max and you fancied watching Tom and Jerry earlier today, there's a chance you may have been one of the lucky few to be treated to Zack Snyder's Justice League instead.
It's not clear exactly why, but some subscribers were able to watch at least a portion of Justice League after trying to watch Tom and Jerry on the streaming service. Doug Bass, who first noticed the error, told THR that he was able to watch an hour of the film before it was cut off. "I just wanted to put on Tom & Jerry for background noise while I worked and instead I watched an hour of an amazing movie," said Bass. Word of the accidental leak quickly spread on Twitter and others, including THR, were able to replicate the error and watch parts of Justice League as well. Is someone getting fired over at Warner Bros. today? As for the rest of us, we've just got one more week to go before we can check out the film legit.
The official synopsis for Zack Snyder's Justice League:
In ZACK SNYDER’S JUSTICE LEAGUE, determined to ensure Superman’s (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions.
Zack Snyder's Justice League will debut on HBO Max on March 18th.
