Now that we've gotten a title and a teaser for the next TRANSFORMERS movie, things seem to be coming together rather quickly for the fifth movie in the franchise. Michael Bay is prepping to go into production on TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT next month and, as a result, is going to need a cast to fill out his movie… and it appears he may be returning some old friends from the first three movies to get in on the action.
Josh Duhamel, who played Lieutenant Colonel Lennox in the first three installments of the series, is coming back to reprise that role and give the upcoming sequel a familiar military presence. The announcement of his re-entry into the TRANSFORMERS canon (he sat out AGE OF EXTINCTION) was made and confirmed on Twitter.

But Duhamel isn't the only cast member from those first Michael Bay TRANSFORMERS films that would like to get involved (and no, I'm not talking Shia LaBeouf. Tyrese Gibson took to Instagram to make his case for why he'd like to get back into the fray.
Given that Tyrese's video came via Michael Bay's account, it might be safe to say that Bay is putting the band back together in uniting the two ends of his TRANSFORMERS Universe. Hmmm… How much longer before Megan Fox gets a call again?
TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT is scheduled to open in theaters on June 23, 2017.
