When Zack Snyder stepped away from post-production on JUSTICE LEAGUE due to a family tragedy, Warner Bros. brought Joss Whedon onboard to rewrite portions of the film and oversee reshoots. During San Diego Comic-Con 2017, Ray Fisher and his fellow cast-members took the opportunity to promote the Joss Whedon version of the film. At the time, Fisher said, "Joss is a great guy and Zack picked a good person to come in and clean up and finish up for him." As we know, Fisher took to Twitter in June to "forcefully retract" his previous statements and the actor later alleged that production on the JUSTICE LEAGUE reshoots were rife with misconduct, specifically singling out Joss Whedon as well as producers Geoff Johns and Jon Berg.
The battle has continued, with both Warner Bros. and Ray Fisher firing shots, and Jason Momoa voiced his support for Fisher last week with a #IStandWithRayFisher post on his Instagram account. Well, Momoa has returned with a further show of support and has backed Fisher's claims. "THIS SHIT HAS TO STOP AND NEEDS TO BE LOOKED AT," wrote Momoa in an Instagram post. "@ray8fisher AND EVERYONE ELSE WHO EXPERIENCED WHAT HAPPEN UNDER THE WATCH OF @wbpictures NEEDS PROPER INVESTIGATION." The actor also wrote that news of the FROSTY THE SNOWMAN film which he was reportedly slated to lend his voice to that has Geoff Johns and Jon Berg attached to produce was purposely leaked to serve as a distraction to Fisher's claims. "I just think it’s fucked up that people released a fake Frosty announcement without my permission to try to distract from Ray Fisher speaking up about the shitty way we were treated on Justice League reshoots," wrote Momoa. "Serious stuff went down. It needs to be investigated and people need to be held accountable. #IStandWithRayFisher. aloha j"
If you still think Jason playing Frosty was EVER a real thing—please wake up!
Hopefully now people see the depths that some are willing to go to hide the truth.
To think they believed my brother would sellout the cast/crew of JL for a corncob pipe and a button nose…??????????

To-date, the “independent” firm hired by @wbpictures has conveniently avoided contacting key witnesses who gave damning statements to WB HR.
They’ve also started interviews with (and have since ghosted) witnesses that have implicated former and current top level executives.

Others (including an implicated individual that called me to apologize) have already been interviewed.
We will not let ANY investigator cherry-pick interviewees that best suit @wbpictures’ false narrative and scapegoating efforts.
All with stories WILL be heard!

It remains to be seen just how this investigation will proceed, but it's clear that it's not about to go away anytime soon, especially if more JUSTICE LEAGUE actors back up Ray Fisher's claims. Meanwhile, the Zack Snyder cut of JUSTICE LEAGUE is slated to debut on HBO Max next year.
