James Bond is back in the first trailer for No Time To Die!

Put down those letters to Santa, pick up your vodka martinis, and rejoice because Christmas just came early!

After months of set photos, teasers, injuries on set, and screen polishing, the first official trailer for NO TIME TO DIE finally dropped this morning. And I have to tell you this is just two plus minutes of that 007 special sauce. What struck me the most is that it appears as if Lea Seydoux's character Dr. Madeleine Swann will somehow betray Bond, or at least do something to get him back to MI-6. And although there were reports that Christoph Waltz was returning as Blofeld, I did not expect to see him in this trailer.

Speaking of villains we finally get a solid look at Rami Malek's Safin who's face looks all kinds of messed up. I'm sure there's an intriguing backstory behind those scars that no doubt led him down his path of villainy. Safin has been described as a guy who "gets under Bond's skin" although what that possibly could mean is anyone's guess. A connection to Bond's past perhaps?

In any event, I'm sufficiently intrigued by this trailer. It contains all the staples of the Bond franchise we've come to know and love including car chases, a dynamic villain, beautiful women, and of course the Aston Martin – with machines guns. If this is to be Daniel Craig's last outing, here's hoping this one ends on a high note.
