Hugh Jackman teases Victor Creed and “berserker rage” for Wolverine 3

Last month Hugh Jackman took to Twitter and asked his fans what they would most want to see in his final Wolverine film. While speaking on the Sydney Confidential podcast, Hugh Jackman made a point of bringing up two of the most popular suggestions he received after making that request.

Jackman, who said that he was "quite heartened by a number of people saying 'please don’t make it the last one'," mentioned that "there were a lot of calls for Victor Creed to come back." Victor Creed, a.k.a Sabretooth, was played by Tyler Mane in the first X-Men film and by Liev Schreiber in X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE. As Schreiber was one of the few decent parts of that best-forgotten film, I'd be more than pleased if he got the call to face off with Hugh Jackman in a decent Wolverine flick; after all, Deadpool got his second chance.

As for the second most popular suggestion, Jackman said "if you’re a comic book fan, the words 'berserker rage' came up a lot. If you know Wolverine, you’ll understand." For those who don't know, Wolverine's "berserker rage" is when his animalistic side takes over during combat and leaves him as little more than an uncontrollable violent animal who lets nothing stand in his way. It's a side of Hugh Jackman's Wolverine which we haven't seen much of in the films and, owing to its over the top violent nature, may not be doable in a PG-13 environment.

We have no way of knowing if WOLVERINE 3 will include Victor Creed or Wolverine's "berserker rage" but I believe that Hugh Jackman really does want to give the fans the best possible Wolverine exit he can, so he may very well be passing these suggestions along to WOLVERINE 3 screenwriter Michael Green. James Mangold returns to direct WOLVERINE 3, which will be released on March 3, 2017.

Aside from the possible additions of Victor Creed and "berserker rage," what else would you like to see in WOLVERINE 3?
