Although we've gone without the Marvel Cinematic Universe on the big-screen this year, we've got plenty of MCU goodness just over the horizon, including a number of Marvel TV shows in development for the Disney+ streaming service. One of those shows is Hawkeye, which will find Jeremy Renner returning as Clint Barton/Hawkeye, and production on the series is currently underway. The series will also introduce audiences to Kate Bishop, a young woman who is trained by Barton, and although it was said that Hailee Steinfeld (Bumblebee) was slated to take on the role, the actress wouldn't confirm anything; likely due to those infamous Marvel snipers.
Well, a set-video has emerged that confirms that Hailee Steinfeld will indeed to starring in Hawkeye alongside Jeremy Renner.

You might also notice a certain canine in the video, who is likely Lucky the Pizza Dog. "What I get to do in the show ultimately is shepherd an amazing character, ultimately a better version of me and the sentiment of that is the fiber of what Hawkeye is, at least what I think Hawkeye is — a superhero without superpowers and I get to teach someone else to be a superhero without super powers," said Renner at San Diego Comic-Con last year. In addition to Hawkeye, Marvel is working on several other Marvel Cinematic Universe TV shows in various stages of production which are destined for Disney+, including The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, WandaVision, Loki, What If…?, Moon Knight, Ms. Marvel, and She-Hulk. WandaVision will be the first to arrive when it launches on Disney+ on January 15, 2021.
