Enough with the teases, let’s go full bore: Here’s the official trailer for Darren Aronofsky‘s NOAH, starring Russell Crowe, Anthony Hopkins, Ray Winstone, Jennifer Connelly and Emma Watson. This looks like a glorious epic, filled to the brim with beautiful visuals (and visual effects) and a powerful message of survival. Aronofsky has said all along that this will not resemble the tale of Noah most of us are familiar with, and it’s quite apparent here that he wasn’t kidding around. Watch:
We’re still unsure if we’ll ultimately see the director’s full vision on the big screen, as he and the studio are reportedly squabbling over the final cut, but right now it’s not too early to think this could end up being a thoroughly impressive achievement.
NOAH hits theaters on March 28, 2014.
