Cast This: Enchantress

You want it, you got it. Time to cast the seductive Enchantress for THOR 2.

This past week, we were up to our elbows in villain buzz. We found out that one the baddies for THOR 2 would be that sexy little minx, the Enchantress.

While Loki is still spending time in the “house of inferiority complexes”, it seems that he’s going to get a little help from a golden goddess. Okay, she’s not a goddess, actually the Enchantress is a sorceress who uses her powers of seduction to cause a rift between Thor and Jane Foster. Guess how that pans out? I’m sure you can, but feminine wiles are not a thing to be messed with. Now, Enchantress will probably have a little help from one of her boy toy minions, the Executioner. However, our focus here is the Enchantress– not the Executioner. That part seems to have already been given to Mads Mikkelsen.

Don’t be fooled. This sorceress is a powerful one, but she does need a little back-up and Loki needs all the assistance he can get. There are two versions of this character, the most current one, Sylvie Lushton getting her start in 2009. The original Enchantress, Amora will likely be the one that is used. If you want to read up more on the character, get your research on here. Now it’s time for you to come up with some casting ideas. Stop staring at her rack (I don’t blame you) and get to it!

I get the love for Nathan Fillion, I really do, but not even he wants the part of Ant-Man. He basically said that Ant-Man was lame and that the part just “wasn’t for him”. Another FIREFLY alum, Alan Tudyk was the second choice. I think he’s a great actor and I see why you guys would want to see him breakout. Tudyk certainly deserves it. The last and final choice was Patrick Wilson. Good ol’ Nite Owl. I can see him in that role as well. Personally, I’m with whoever suggested BURN NOTICE’s Jeffrey Donovan.
