The pre-credits Day of the Dead parade scene from SPECTRE will reportedly feature over 1500 extras and Bond producer Michael G. Wilson has described it as "the biggest sequence we've ever done." Last month a breakdown of the scene landed online, and now Yahoo has released a video that is a mix of behind-the-scenes footage and stills from the shoot in Mexico City.
2nd unit director Alex Witt and actress Stephanie Sigman (Estrella) provided details on what's going on in the scene, but don't worry; the video isn't any more spoilery than the previous breakdown of the epic sequence. Stinky pinky promise.
*Insert Bond theme here*
Some additional info on the scene from Yahoo:
Helicopter pilot Chuck Aaron was specifically hired for the scene because he is the only person licensed by the FAA to perform 360 degree flips.
The production team spent four days filming at Zocalo Square, another four in the streets nearby, and two outside of the city to shoot the helicopter aerobatics.
The ghoulish make-up for the extras took two and half hours per person.
How excited are you to check out the Day of the Dead opening scene from SPECTRE?
SPECTRE will be in theaters on November 6, 2015.
