The first trailer for HITMAN: AGENT 47 has been released, and I have to say it actually doesn't look that bad. Of course, the trailers for 2007's HITMAN starring Timothy Olyphant ended up being better than the film, and while I don't have high hopes for the remake/reboot/whatever, I do think it will at least be an entertaining and fun movie.
The trailer starts a little slow, with Rupert Friend's titular assassin being questioned in an interrogation room, but things heat up once he gets his hands (so to speak) on a gun.
"You should really let me go."
Based on the popular video game series, HITMAN: AGENT 47 was directed by Polish filmmaker Aleksander Bach from a script by Michael Finch (THE NOVEMBER MAN), Kyle Ward (MACHETE KILLS) and Skip Woods (SABOTAGE), and it also stars Zachary Quinto, Hannah Ware and Thomas Kretschmann.
HITMAN: AGENT 47 will be in theaters on August 28, 2015.
