The MGM dvd lineup for this fall is looking pretty heavy on the horror side, as a couple of the titles in the lineup are eagerly awaited restoration jobs or special editions. Among the eagerly awaited is FROM BEYOND, the 1986 horror film from Stuart Gordon. This edition of FROM BEYOND is the director’s cut, so it will be loaded with Gordon goodies. The other awaited dvd is THE BURNING in it’s uncut version. This version will be presented in Hi-Def and will feature the usual commentary as well.
Also on tap for a dvd release is RETURN OF THE LIVING
DEAD, which will have cast/zombie commentaries available on the disc.
