Just
the other day I dropped a little info on the upcoming horror/western
GHOST TOWN. It’s the film that was written as a tribute to director Dean
Teaster’s father who worked in a
western theme park.
And not only would this film be tributary to Teaster’s father, but it would
reunite Bill McKinney and Herbert ‘Cowboy’ Coward; two actual ‘mountain men’ who
haven’t worked together since they were on DELIVERANCE.
Well today we were hit up with two
new stills from GHOST TOWN. The one seen above shows director Dean
Teaster as he works with Herbert “Cowboy” Coward and Princess Lucaj. The one
seen below shows Herbert “Cowboy” Coward and Bill McKinney being re-united on
the set of GHOST TOWN.
While the pictures don’t show much
about the movie, it is neat to see these guys in costume; or what I would assume
is costumes. From what I understand they’re both pretty genuine to the
characters that they portray. (That meaning there just as rough and tumble as
you would expect ‘mountain men to be!)
So if you dig the whole western
thriller gig, and happen to be in the North Carolina area sometime this summer,
make sure to check out GHOST TOWN while it has a run at
Ghost Town in
the Sky; the theme park that
inadvertently inspired the film!
