Moon Knight finale trailer teases an epic conclusion to the Marvel series

The Moon Knight series finale will drop on Disney+ in just two days. The latest Marvel Cinematic Universe series has been fantastic so far in my opinion, with Oscar Isaac’s performance(s) a major highlight. Isaac stars as Marc Spector, an ex-soldier with a case of dissociative identity disorder that manifests as distinct individuals who become the conduit for the Egyptian moon god Khonshu. A new trailer for the Moon Knight finale has been released that teases one hell of an epic conclusion. I won’t describe the trailer for those you’d prefer not to know, but it does end with one hell of a final shot.

Speaking of Moon Knight, head writer Jeremy Slater recently told House of R that Bushman, the mercenary mentioned in the last episode of the series, was originally intended to be the main villain. “There were a lot of specifics in the pitch that didn’t wind up working in the show,” Slater said. “Bushman was initially going to be the main villain. I thought he was going to be possessed by an Egyptian god by the end of it, and you’d have a big sort of avatar battle.” Not only that, but Maya Lopez aka Echo was supposed to be Marc’s love interest before producers decided that she’d be a better fit for the Hawkeye series.

The official synopsis for Moon Knight:

The series follows Steven Grant, a mild-mannered gift-shop employee, who becomes plagued with blackouts and memories of another life. Steven discovers he has dissociative identity disorder and shares a body with mercenary Marc Spector. As Steven/Marc’s enemies converge upon them, they must navigate their complex identities while thrust into a deadly mystery among the powerful gods of Egypt.

The Moon Knight finale will premiere on Disney+ on May 4th, two days before the premiere of the new Doctor Strange.
